The Standard

After not meeting with pops for dinner for 3 nights in a row, tonight I braved peak hour subway traffic to meet up with him for dinner. Thank goodness for proper hygiene standards in TW cuz we were packed like sardines for most of the ride.

Upon arriving at the mrt station, dad took me to his latest beef noodle find: 阿江牛肉麵off羅斯福路, a neighborhood joint. It reminded me of our old neighborhood beef noodle place before we left for Malaysia. Very homey, both in taste and the decor. We were basically sitting in a converted living room or front porch. The beef pieces were generous in size and very nicely stewed though.

After dinner, we took a stroll to our standard shave ice place across from NTU. It was comfortable. Very standard but comfortable.
